Trailers for every occasion

There are times in your life when you feel how much you could do with a little extra carrying power. When renovating a home, building a house, moving house, landscaping, transporting sports equipment or even larger pets, a trailer comes in handy. Fortunately, we now have the right means of transport for almost any occasion.

Single axle trailers for chores around the house

Around the house, there are always jobs to be done that involve moving or removing large items from the home. When renovating and building a home, materials and tools, when moving furniture, and when landscaping a garden, large plants, stones, garden ornaments and wells complicate the logistics. That’s where a trailer comes in handy which could easily transport heavier, larger items or materials that come with dirt. For these smaller arrangements, we recommend the so-called lightweight single-axle trailer which can be purchased at an affordable price. Single-axle unbraked trailers are simple, unbraked structures that usually have only one axle and a metal flatbed with leaf-spring suspension. You can transport up to 750 kilograms with an unbraked trailer. Usually, the registration document of your vehicle will state the weight of the unbraked or braked trailers it can tow.

Bicycle, motorcycle and quad transporters

There are now motorcycle transporters specially designed for transporting motorcycles, where 1 or 2 motorcycles are secured by means of a standing rail with curved wheel rim or a wheel chock. The motorcycle transporter is typically one and a half metres long and has a load capacity of nearly 200 kg. They come with a ramp rail to easily mount the engines on the platform.

Transport of boats to the water

With hot summers bringing more and more people to the waterfront, the number of people buying their own kayaks, canoes or even boats has increased significantly. If you don’t live directly on the waterfront, you will need to find a way to get these water vehicles to the cool waves. It’s easier for those who just want to put a small kayak or canoe on the water as a heavy-duty roof rack will suffice. However, to transport larger crafts (boats, ships) you will need a boat trailer. In this case, the loading regulations for trailers and semi-trailers stipulate that the width of the tow must not exceed 2.55 metres and the height must not exceed 3 metres. One of the most important basic rules is to park your boat transport carefully when you arrive, not directly on the waterfront, as your trailer can sink up to its axle in the soft, muddy ground. Not only does it take a lot of effort to get it out, but the wet environment and water itself is not good for the components.

Really comfortable trailers

A regular event in the lives of farmers and livestock keepers is to attend various competitions and fairs, either in a completely different part of the country or abroad. But you also have to get to the vet somehow. It is important to point out that the transport of live animals is subject to authorisation under Act XLVI of 2008 on the Food Chain and Official Supervision. Moreover, if the transport of animals takes more than 8 hours, a separate authorisation is required. It is therefore essential to have a suitable livestock transporter. The main considerations for trailers designed to transport animals are stability, as they transport live, moving animals, load capacity, as they can weigh hundreds of kilos, and practicality, as they make it easier to get animals on and off the trailer and to secure them during transport. With a properly selected livestock trailer safe transport is guaranteed.
