The most outstanding parties of the economy were summoned

The ones creating values and workplaces shall be celebrated now. If the economy flourishes, everything else can flourish as well. These were the words Mr. József Gaál used to greet the most prominent economic players of the county. The chairman of Chamber of Trade and Industry of Bács-Kiskun County declared during the presentation of the publication called „TOP 100 – Bács-Kiskun County’s Economy 2018” that the economy of our country was performing finely. The considerable attendance and the elevated interest shown towards the event both indicate that the activity that the public body initiated and has been pursuing since 2002 is of great importance. Our almanac called TOP 100 presenting the leading parties of our homeland is viewed by more and more enterprises as a basis of business reference.

This year again, the list of TOP 100 was created within the framework of a collaboration between the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Bács-Kiskun County, the Board of Directors of Tax and Customs Office of Bács-Kiskun County, the Board of Directors of the Planning and Analysing Department of the Tax and Customs Office of Csongrád County as well as the Szeged-based Major Department of the Central Statistical Office.

The booklet presenting the performances and developments of various business corporations displays the major trends and tendencies of the past year. Graphs and diagrams shall provide the readers with a better understanding.

These were the issues addressed by the principal of the Board of Directors of the Tax and Customs Office of Bács-Kiskun County, Hungarian Tax and Customs Office Mrs. Ferencné Benda and then by Ágnes Grábics, who is the chief of department at Complex Services Department, User Relations Major Department of the Central Statistical Office. Some of the TOP 100 enterprises who – for their professional accomplishments achieved in 2018 – got awarded by the Award Committee of the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Bács-Kiskun County showed up at the presentation of the booklet.

The Economic Development Award of Bács-Kiskun County was earned by the Kecskemét-based Autóflex-Knott Kft.

The Innovation Award of Bács-Kiskun County was granted to the Kecskemét-based Silveria Kft.

This year, the Kiskőrös-based PROTOKON Kft. received the Industrial Enterprise of the Year Award.

From the ones merited last year, Deutschné Sipos Irén was the one who could not receive her award. The presentation called TOP 100 was a perfect occasion for this to happen. The Chamber of Trade and Industry of Bács-Kiskun County rewarded Deutschné Sipos Irén, the managing director of the Kecskemét-based Pool. M. Kft., with a Presidential Medal.

For the second time –after 2009 – our company was lucky enough this year again to receive the award Business Superbrands.

Quality was rewarded.

Business Superbrands

It was the seventh time that the Expert Committee of Superbrands Hungary had delivered its Superbrands Awards. This recognition can be seen as an indicator for the domestic market players wishing to make improvements in brand building aspects in that respect that they shall see which brands are the ones that provide a model to follow.

We believe that the high classification that our brand received provides our customers and partners not only with assurance but also with guarantee when it comes to making their everyday choices. The recognition we received is a positive feedback concerning our brand, which explicitly highlights the very best brands on a professional basis. The jury deciding on who shall get the awards is made up of such professionals who are recognised in the sector. Their decision can be seen as a proof of the success our brand has accomplished so far.

The nominations are based exclusively on professional aspects, since it not possible to apply for it or submit any related applications either. This year was the fourth time that the jury of 15, comprised of independent professionals, was assembled to decide on – with the help of the database Dun&Bradstreet as well as the cooperation of the chambers and associations of the field-  which brands could possess the Superbrands trademark, which is anyway deemed to be a business brand.

Based on the decision made by the committee, our firm Autóflex-Knott deserved to get the appreciation, the right to possess the trademark Superbrands 2011.

Business Superbrands Programme

Alongside the Superbrands Programme, which had been running in Hungary for 7 years, 2008 marked the year when Business Superbrands Programme –known and acknowledged on international level for many years – was initiated in this European country.

Business Superbrands are set to display the best and brightest entities of the B2B sector, i.e. those Hungarian companies and brands are presented here which in the first place supply the enterprises and business players and not the end users. The list presented before the committee is established by means of the database of Dun&Bradstreett as well as by taking the recommendations of the most significant professional organisations and associations of the field into consideration. This list of around 3000 brands/firms includes both the largest domestic companies realising vast amounts of profits as well as smaller sized enterprises – put forward by the chambers of industry, unions, societies and professional organisations of the given field – which can be considered the prominent entities of the local business life.
