As part of the Modern Factories Night 2025 program series, on November 14, 2025, interested parties had the opportunity to take a closer look at the operations of one of Hungary’s leading manufacturing companies, Autóflex-KNOTT Kft. The company welcomed visitors in two shifts, in groups of 25, who were able to discover the modern technologies and processes of the Hungarian manufacturing industry up close.
Reception and company presentation
The Autóflex-KNOTT Kft. team welcomed the arriving guests with hot tea, creating a pleasant atmosphere before the company tour.
The program began with a short, informative company presentation by HR manager Vivien Vakulya, who outlined the company’s history, values, and main activities.
Tamás Sándor, Production Director, then took the floor. He presented the production profile and product range of Autóflex-KNOTT Kft., as well as the high level of technical expertise that characterizes the company.
Factory tour step by step – modern manufacturing technology up close
Participants were guided by experts through the various areas of the plant, where they could follow the processes of metalworking, shaft manufacturing, and CNC machining in real time.
Semi-finished goods warehouse and preparation area – The tour began in the world of semi-finished products and raw materials, where participants learned how the manufacturing steps are prepared.
Laser plant – precision laser cutting technology – In the laser plant, they observed the operation of modern laser cutting equipment, which is indispensable for accurate and efficient component manufacturing.
Stamping plant – Here, high-performance presses form the metal components. Visitors gained insight into one of the most important stages of metal forming.
Axle plant – The shaft manufacturing process and precise quality control were also presented.
CNC machining plant – high-precision machining – Through the operation of modern CNC machines, guests learned how complex, high-precision components are manufactured.
Press brake and A-frame manufacturing plant – the final stop on the tour – The tour of the company ended at the edge bending and drawbar triangle plant.
Here, Sándor Sárközi, Head of Domestic Sales, thanked the visitors for their participation, and they were presented with carefully selected gifts.
Professional discussions and interactive experience
The program was enriched by numerous questions and professional discussions. András Kovács, head of TMK, provided detailed and easy-to-understand answers to several technical questions, further enhancing the participants’ experience and knowledge.
