On 14 June 2025, Autóflex KNOTT Ltd. celebrated a special Father’s Day Open Day, which aimed to give employees the opportunity to introduce their families to their workplace, thus strengthening the bond between family and work. Almost 70 participants – fathers, mothers and children – came together for a morning full of experiences.
The programme included a tour of the entire company site, including the production lines, the assembly department and the quality control area. Expert colleagues provided interactive demonstrations, where children could ask questions and try out simple tasks, giving them an insight into the production process. This gave visitors a closer look at the day-to-day running of the company.
One of the biggest successes of the day was the demonstration of Autóflex KNOTT Ltd.’s own fire-fighting team. Together with their dads, the children were able to take a tour of the fire truck, learn about the equipment and techniques and try out fire extinguishing with a fire extinguisher – under the guidance of the experts, of course.
The good atmosphere was rounded off with refreshments, while there was also an opportunity for informal discussions and exchanges of experience between colleagues. The shared experiences and interactive activities were not only fun but also community-building, creating a family-friendly and motivating atmosphere for the participants.
The Father’s Day event was the perfect combination of family fun, workplace insight and community empowerment. Site managers, staff and their relatives spent a memorable morning together, learning about work processes and enjoying a community experience. The event is a good example of how a corporate programme can be personal, family-friendly and inspiring.
