New successes at the Szakma Sztár Festival – future professionals among the podiums again

Autóflex-KNOTT Kft. congratulates the students and partners who achieved excellent results

On May 15, professional excellence was once again a reason to celebrate: at the national final of the Excellent Student of the Profession Competition, 10 from the Kecskemét Vocational Training Center took the podium. The ceremonial award ceremony took place at the Kecskemét Sectoral Training Center, where the students, their instructors, and the dual training partners were also honored.

In the framework of the XVIII Vocational Star Festival, nearly 200 students competed in more than 50 professions. The students of the Kandó Kálmán Technical College of Kecskemét SZC were particularly successful, achieving the third highest ranking at national level.

“This is not only our success, but that of everyone who is here: the dual partners, the university, the chamber.” – emphasised Bence Ignácz, Director General.

Among the winners were mechatronics technician, CNC programmer, welder and tool and appliance maker apprentices, all of which are of particular importance to the vehicle parts manufacturing profile of Autóflex-KNOTT Ltd.

Talent in Focus – Tamás Vincze Wins Gold Medal

One of the outstanding results of the competition was achieved by Tamás Vincze, who, despite the difficulties, ended the competition as a gold medalist.

As he said: “I actually went there to win. I was in a bit of a disadvantage, as I had just had surgery on my knee before the competition, so I had to manufacture and program with a walker, but fortunately I made the best of the situation. It wouldn’t have been possible without István Borsodi and Gábor Fabók.”

Tamás completed his internship at Autóflex-KNOTT Kft., about which he said: “I felt good, Gábor taught me a lot, I developed a lot and the internships were very friendly, I always felt good.”

Although his professional journey is currently continuing elsewhere, he spoke highly of the company: “Autóflex is a great choice, I recommend it to everyone – you can work with the best instructor!”

Experience and dedication – Gábor Fabók mentors the students

The students are backed by dedicated trainers – including Gábor Fabók, who is still actively involved in the dual training programme as a retired student.

“I think it is very important to get the students interested in their field. I am motivated when I see that I have succeeded. It’s a joint effort with everyone – they can work as a team and they’ll have a lot to draw from that in the future.” – he said.

The news of the gold medal also touched Gábor: “We knew after the final that one of the top three places would go to Tamás, and we considered that a great success. The awards ceremony took place at the Congress Centre, where more than 80 professionals were honoured. The third and then the second runners-up were announced – Tamás’ name was the last to be mentioned. He was called up to the highest level, and you can imagine how those of us who were involved in his preparation felt. In a word: CONGRATULATIONS!

He is optimistic about the future for young people: “At Autóflex, we have all the tools to get young people involved in the fast-paced world of technology – modern machines, IT background, infrastructure. The opportunity is there.”

His message to young people starting their careers is also clear: “Be where you can learn the most. Money is important, but knowledge is even more important – you’ll find it all at Autoflex.”

Continuous development – from trainee to employee

Last year, one of our trainees, Zsombor Nagy, attracted attention as a podium winner at the Professional Star Festival. Since then, Zsombor has joined our team as an associate – and we’re pleased to see that this year, several of the top professions in which our company is a key partner have been among the top performers.

Five talented students will soon be joining us for their apprenticeships. We are delighted that the majority of our graduates are planning their professional future at Autóflex-KNOTT Ltd.

Dual training – shared value, shared success

Our company is committed to supporting regional vocational training – in the fields of mechanical engineering, mechatronics and automotive engineering, we are constantly working with local schools, training centres and chambers.

We believe that competitive results are not only a testament to individual talent, but also to a well-established partnership between education and industry.

Congratulations to all the winners, their teachers and the Kecskemét Vocational Training Centre – we are proud to be part of this joint success!
